For 1st and 2nd ADs, location managers and production managers: prepare, correct and distribute the

call sheet for a shooting day, then use it on the day.

1. What it is for, who has access

The call sheet gathers everything you need to know about one shooting day: times, locations,

scenes, cast, crew, extras, meals, weather, safety. Kinelux builds it from the shooting schedule:

you check it, complete it, send it.

Menu: Call sheets.

Who can do what

Access depends on each person's job on the project (module “Call sheets, sending”):

shares their number.

even if the call sheet is read-only for them.

  • Job — Level
  • Producer / Production manager — Admin: everything
  • 1st assistant director / locations — Edit: generate, edit, send
  • Director, Script supervisor, Extras coordinator and Extras assistant, Reader — Read
  • Head of department, Crew member, Actor, Background extra — Contribute (their own call)
  • Casting director, Screenwriter, Client — No access
  • Generating, editing, sending and tracking sends requires the Edit or Admin level.
  • With read access, a key contact's phone number is shown only to the production or if the person
  • Takes, continuity and reports belong to the “On set” module: a script supervisor can correct takes

6. Frequently asked questions

I corrected the call sheet after sending it. Does the crew see it?

No: the links show the last version sent. Use “Send the revised version”.

A person is missing from the send window.

Their “Cast & Crew” record has no email. If their row is “unlinked”, link it to their record.

Does the update erase my corrections?

No. “Edited” fields and added rows are kept.

The weather is empty.

No coordinates for the location, or the date is too far ahead. Add the set's position, or enter

the weather by hand.

No hospital?

None by default: “Nearest hospital”, then check the emergency department.

Does an extra see the whole call sheet?
